Reading and interpretation of the Will to disseminate among beneficiaries
Determination and assembling the assets and liabilities of the Estate
Prepare a Statement of Assets and Liabilities.
Valuation of real estate
Notifying brokers, bankers, etc.
Application to bank/broker for release of funds to pay probate/legal fees
Completion of claims for life insurance, RRSPs, government benefits, etc.
Instruct solicitor to apply for Probate
Closing bank/brokerage accounts and safety deposit box
